Up as usual for my morning chill outside. Had my first coffee on my own. When I was ready for my second I went and dragged Hubby out of bed to join me. We sat chatting for about half an hour. After breakfast Hubby left for the Dr. and I started office work.
Hubby phoned after being at the Dr. He had gone to pick up the forms to have blood test before seeing the Dr. on Wednesday. He was given the forms and then asked about the Oz trip. The Dr. changed his appointment to the 11th so as to see him as close to departure date as possible. His gall bladder must come out as being diabetic makes leaving it more dangerous. He will have to be on medication while in Oz to make sure it doesn’t suddenly get infected again which could develop into septicemia. The op will be done the day after our return.
Diane and I continued with computer work until lunch time. After lunch we went into Meyerton to do some shopping – I needed something to cook for supper. First we checked out the clothes shops. I found some sandals for our holiday at the first shop. The second shop was the best. Diane found herself a dress and shoes for the wedding. She needs comfortable shoes as she will be taking the pics at the wedding. She managed to run a couple of steps in them so knew they were perfect. I found a pair of three quarters for myself. After this successful spree we were ready for the mundane – grocery shopping. We decided on stir-fry for supper as it is quick and easy plus its Diane’s ideal vegetarian meal. We do the meat separately so she doesn’t pollute her meal.
When we got back we had a coffee and put the airtime on the computer to carry on working. The thunder started rumbling so we quickly finished and switched off. Hubby arrived home and we all sat outside having a glass of wine. A light rain started and it turned very chilly and windy. Diane and I made supper which was delicious. After supper we watched TV and then I went to bed as I wasn’t feeling too good – I had a cold and sore throat starting so I dosed up before getting into bed..
